| But probably not the inlet flanges. The AC compressor and bracket need to be removed in order to access the driver oil feed lines, possible to do with the crossmember up, much easier with it down. If you drop the crossmember, the easiest way to tackle supporting the engine is with an engine hoist. Just attatch it as if you were pulling the engine and put slight tension on the motor. Make sure you unbolt your motor mounts first. I did a small writeup/notes in tech about dropping the crossmember found here: La-Z-Link and here La-Z-Link
